Quintessentially Conran in design, the restaurant is reminiscent of a dining room on board an art deco cruise liner, together with the feeling of a modern version of the much-loved classic Parisian brasserie. Seating 130, including a dining counter overlooking the kitchen, it is a light and airy space with large windows at both ends of the room.
It also includes several notable architectural details such as the building's original structural steel columns. Additional features, which are now synonymous with its designer, include a large open kitchen, impressive food displays and a large cheese-conditioning cabinet.
The extensive à la carte menu focuses on modern European, highly-seasonal food, with a subtle Nordic influence (courtesy of the Swedish chef). The generous menu options are complemented by one of the best wine lists in the City - as nominated by the AA Guide - and the wine service is managed by a very experienced sommelier team.
