Huntington Beach, founded in 1909, is a city in Orange County, California, United States. In 2009 it had a population of 202.4801 inhabitants and a population density of 2,817.

The city is known for its beach (13.7 km) and its excellent surfing conditions. The waves have a unique natural effect by currents coming from the island of Santa Catalina.
